Bourg has a beautiful old town centre which those who travel through it to other resorts rarely see. The main road through the town has all the large shops, the Eurostar railway station, Bus station, car park and the funicular lift which is linked in to the Les Arcs lift system. Leaving this main road to walk up the hill in to the town you discover a lovely old market town, with a pedestrian road leading from the town square in front of the Marie, up the hill to another small square and the church. The town also has a lovely park, a lake and a wood. In the park there are bar-b-que spots, a skate park, a children's play ground, volley ball courts and table tennis tables. The town has facilities for holiday makers in summer and winter and lots of festivals, sporting competitions and cultural activities, which we list in our calendar of special events |
