The Paradiski is a huge area which unites the resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne. We have a chalet on each side of the area. On the Les Arcs side our chalet is in a town called Bourg Saint Maurice and on the La Plagne side we are in a village called Montchavin.

* our chalet in Bourg Saint Maurice / Les Arcs...

The Paradiski was created by joining Les Arcs and La Plagne with a huge double decker cable car called the Vanoise Express in December 2004. Paradiski is the second largest accessible mountain area in the world with 568km of pistes in the winter and 141 chair lifts at altitudes of 1200m to 3520m.

Lifts are open from mid December until May, and July until September and are well maintained. Paradiski is often overlooked in favour of it's more famous neighbours The Espace Killy and the Three Valleys, which means you get less queuing for lifts, and pistes and trails which stay in good condition for longer. We have been to resorts all over the world and have fifteen seasons under our collective belts, and we still think this is the best area there is.

Chillchalet accommodation has:

  1. A storage room at ground floor level underneath the chalets which are locked with a key code so your skis, bikes, helmets, equipment etc will be secure.
  2. A workshop with all the tools you should need for day to day repairs to your kit, suching as a waxing table, a tool box and spare tyre tubes.
  3. An area outside where you can hose down bikes and a stand to help you carry out repairs.
  4. An entrance hall with a boot rack where you can leave wet shoes and boots, and each room has a heated rail and hooks for drying out wet clothes.
  5. A guest dresser where you will find lots of useful bits and bobs you may need like an iron, a hairdryer, new toothbrushes, toiletries etc.
  6. A kids chest full of handy bits like bibs, bottles, toys, nappies etc.
  7. A living room with a plasma TV and hundreds of films and books for you to use.
