We pride ourselves on our menu which we have refined over the last 9 years. We can send you the full menu and wine list in advance of your trip and you are welcome to make any ammendments you wish to take account of your preferences or special requirements.
Breakfast
Guests have told us that they like to be flexible about when they have breakfast, so we don't have a fixed breakfast time, but allow you to help yourselves at times that suit you. So in the kitchen in the morning you will find:
* tea and coffee making facilities with an italian espresso machine and milk frother
* a fridge filled with orange juice, fresh fruit, milk and yogurts, which you are also free to use to store your own drinks or snacks
* croissants, pain aux chocolats and a microwave in case you prefer them warm
* porridge oats and cereals and a microwave to heat your milk
* french toast, bread, butter and a selection of jams and condiments
* if you are happy to have a fixed meal time, we can also do eggs, just let us know when you book.
* if there's anything else that you would like for breakfast, just let us know when you book.
Teatime treats available all day
Again we have found people prefer not to have a fixed tea time because they all get home at different times, and there's nothing worse than getting home to find there is no cake left. So you have access to tea and coffee making facilities and the regularly topped up cake and biscuit tins so you can help yourself at any time of day.
Dinner with wine (staff day off is Wednesday)
We have found over the years that people prefer a large filling main course with pudding rather than the standard Tour Operator 3 small courses, so our menu reflects this, but if your group would prefer starters it will cost the same, just let us know when you book.
Here is an example of some of our meals:
* Herb crusted lamb, boulanger potatoes and honey glazed carrots - winter spiced pear crumble and custard
* Lasagna, salad and garlic bread - raspberry and marcapone dip with langue de chat biscuits
* Tartiflette (local speciality made with ham and reblochon cheese) and salad - banana toffee cake with ice cream
* Chilli, rice, nachos and sour cream - dark chocolate torte with cream
* Parma ham, chicken and cheese parcels with tagliatelli arrabiatta and courgettes - lemon and ginger cheesecake.
The staff have their night off on Wednesday so we can either reserve you a restaurant or order you pizzas, just let us know what you'd like when you book.
