Skiing and snowboarding in Les Arcs and La Plagne

The Paradiski was created by joining two large resorts called Les Arcs and La Plagne, with a mighty double-decker cable car called the Vanoise Express in December 2004 and is the second largest ski area in the world with 568km of pistes and 141 ski lifts at altitudes of 1200m to 3520m. Lifts are open from mid December until May and are well maintained. Paradiski is often overlooked in favour of it's more famous neighbours The Espace Killy and the Three Valleys, which means you get less queuing and more powder to go around. We have been to resorts all over the world and have fifteen seasons under our collective belts, and we still think this is the best area there is.

Chillchalet accommodation is perfect for skiiers and snowboarders because:

1. We have a storage room at ground floor level underneath the chalet which is locked with a key code so your skis and snowboards will be secure.
2. There is a workshop with all the tools and equipment you will need for maintaining your kit.
3. We will show you how to wax and service your skis and snowboards.
4. The entrance hall has a boot rack where you can leave wet boots, and each room has a heated rail and hooks for drying out wet things.
5. If you need to hire skis, snowboards or boots we can show you the best places in the town, or if you need us to, we can organise this for you in advance and have your equipment delivered to the chalet.
6. We can also arrange for an experienced guide to show you around the resort, or for a trip in a helicopter to explore the amazing off piste accessible from Paradiski.
7. Our meals are hot, hearty and filling, so perfect for when you have had a long day on the mountain.
8. We can provide you with a packed lunch to take with you.
9. We are based near cafes and bars so you can come home to change before you head out for some apres ski drinks.
