Travelling to the Alps on the Eurostar 'ski train'

Ski train times

The direct ski train from St Pancras in central London to the Alps only runs during the winter season and is set up for people who travel at the weekend and stay for a week. All you need to decide is whether to take the evening train on the Friday which allows you to spend the whole next day on the piste, or the day train which leaves on Saturday morning and arrives just in time for dinner at the chalet.

If you are staying at our chalet in Bourg st Maurice / Les Arcs it is a 2 minute walk to the chalet from the station.

If you are staying at our chalet in Montchavin / La Plagne it is a fifteen minute drive from the station to the chalet. We can arrange for a minibus to collect you, or you can get a taxi from outside the station which costs about 20 Euros.

If you opt for the night trains, it is likely that your room won't be ready when you arrive, or you will need to vacate in the morning on the day you leave, but we are more than happy to let you store your baggage in the chalet while you enjoy your first or last day on the mountain.
